Fenugreek & Spinach Rice


Ingredients:

  • 1 Cup Brown Rice
  • 1 Cup Fenugreek Leaves
  • 1 Cup Spinach finely chopped
  • Salt to taste
  • 1tsp Garam Masala Powder
  • 1tsp Garlic Ginger Green Chilli Paste.
  • 1/2tsp Turmeric
  • 2tsp Olive oil
  • 1 Onion Finely chopped
  • 1/2 Cup Peas
  • Hot water as required 

Method:

  1. Wash n soak Brown rice for 1/2 hour until you arrange other ingredients.
  2. Heat up oil in a deep cooker pan, when hot add onion, when translucent add garlic-ginger-chilli paste n sauté for few minutes.
  3. Now add Garam Masala, Turmeric n sauté for few more min .Now add fenugreek leaves n chopped spinach n mix well.
  4. Add salt, soaked rice and pea’s n cook on medium flame for 1min.
  5. Lastly add hot water n close the lid n pressure cook for 3 whistles.
  6. Once done serve hot.
