Sorghum/Jowar Utappa 


Ingredients:

  • 1/2 Cup Jowar Flour
  • 1/2 Cup Rice Flour
  • 1, 1/2 Cup Boiling Water
  • 1tsp Finely chopped Green Chilli
  • 1tsp Grated Ginger
  • 1/2 Onion Finely chopped
  • 1/2 Cup Chopped Coriander
  • Salt to taste
  • Olive oil as required( to grease)
  • 1tsp Cumin seeds 

Method:

  1. In a large bowl mix all the ingredients one by one, to that add boiling water and mix well. (Utappa Consistency)
  2. Heat the Skillet, add few drops of oil and pour the batter and spread.
  3. Roast both sides until golden brown.
  4. Serve Hot.


Info: Sorghum ( Jowar) helps manage Cholesterol and High Antioxidants relative to other grains.
