Healthy Upma
Ingredients:
- 1cup White Millet (Jowar Flour)/ (Sorghum)
- 1tsp Mustard Seeds
- 2tsp Olive oil
- 1/4tsp Asafoetida (Hing)
- 5-6 Curry Leaves finely chopped
- 1/2 Cup Semolina (Rava)
- 1 Onion Finely chopped
- 1/2Cup Fresh Peas Boiled
- 2 Green Chilli Finely Chopped
- 2tbsp Coriander Finely chopped
- Salt to taste
- Lemon Juice to taste
- 3 Cup Hot Water
Method:
- Heat the oil in deep pan, when hot add Mustard seeds, when crackle add asafoetida and curry leaves and sauté on medium flame for 1min.
- Add onions and green chilli and sauté for 2mins, now add semolina n sauté for another 2to 3 mins.
- To that add Jowar Flour n mix well n sauté for 3more mins.
- Add green Peas, Coriander, Salt, Lemon juice n mix well.
- Now add hot water, mix n cook on medium flame, while stirring continuously.
- Serve hot immediately.
