Chilli Paneer

Ingredients:

  • 3-4 Green Chilies sliced 
  • 1 Large Green Capsicum, cut into thick strips
  • 200g cottage cheese cubed 
  • 2tbsp oil+ for deep frying 
  • 4tbsp cornflour
  • 3-4 Garlic crushed 
  • 2 Medium Onion thickly sliced
  • 1/2 cup vegetable stock
  • Salt to taste 
  • 1/2tsp white pepper powder 2tbsp soy sauce 
  • 1/4tsp MSG (optional ) 
  • 1 bunch spring Onions Green

Method:


1 . Heat oil in a wok, roll the cottage cheese in the cornflour n deep fry on medium heat until the edges start to turn brown. Drain n keep aside.
2. Mix the remaining cornflour with little water n set aside.
3. Heat 2tbsp oil in a wok add garlic n stir fry for a minute. To that add green Chilies, onions n capsicum n saute for couple of minutes or until almost cooked.
4. Now add the fried cottage cheese n stir in the vegetable stock adding salt, white pepper, soy sauce n MSG n stir well.
5. Now add cornflour mixture n cook on high heat until sauce thickens n coats the paneer.
Garnish with finely chopped spring onion green's n serve hot immediately.
