Sesame Honeyed Fingers

Ingredients:

  • 4 large potatoes, peeled n cut into thin fingers
  • 4tbsp honey
  • 1/2 cup cornflour 
  • 2tbsp oil + for deep frying 
  • 2 garlic crushed 
  • 2tbsp light soy sauce 
  • 2tbsp Hoisin Sauce 
  • 2tbsp red chili flakes 
  • Salt to taste
  • 1tbsp toasted sesame seeds
  • 1 cup water

Method:


1. Mix 2tbsp of cornflour in water. Heat sufficient oil in a wok, dust potato fingers with remaining cornflour n deep fry, turning frequently  for about 5mins. Drain n keep aside.
2. Now heat 2tbsp of oil in a separate wok add garlic n stir fry for few seconds.
3. Now stir in the soy sauce, hoisin sauce, red chili flakes n salt adding fried potato fingers.
4. Now stir in the cornflour mixture n cook on medium to high heat for a minute stirring continuously.
5. Lower the heat n stir in the honey n mix well n cook for couple of minutes.
Serve hot immediately  sprinkled with toasted sesame seeds.
