Shahi Paneer

Ingredients:


  • 250 grams Paneer
  • 1/4cup Fresh Coriander Finely Chopped
  • 1tsp Extra Paneer for Garnish
  • 3tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 Onion chopped into strips
  • 1 tbsp Ginger Paste
  • 2 Green Chillies finely chopped
  • 4 Tomatoes finely chopped
  • 1/2tsp Cardamom Powder
  • 1/2cup Yoghurt
  • 1/2tsp Red Chilli Powder
  • 1/2cup Milk
  • 1/2cup water


Method:


  1.  Chop the paneer into 2 inches fingers and keep aside, heat half the oil to that add Onion, ginger, green chilli and cardamom powder and fry for 3-4 minutes.
  2.   Add tomatoes and cook for 7-8 minutes covered, to that add yoghurt and cook for 5 minutes, now add water and let it cool down.
  3. Blend this mixture in a mixer till smooth.
  4. Heat remaining Oil add the paste and boil to get a thick gravy, just before serving heat the gravy and add milk and paneer and
    boil for 3-4 minutes.
  5. Garnish with chopped coriander and grated paneer.

Serve hot.
